Hands shoved deep into your pockets, you tried to walk as fast as possible. It was already late, and you still had school tomorrow. You had actually been getting ready to go to sleep when Woohyun had messaged you to come meet him. If it had been any other person, you would have probably just ignored it. But it was Woohyun, your best friend. And so here you were, approaching the small store. As you walked closer to the store, you noticed the dark figure that was sitting on the bench placed outside. The person’s head was down, but you recognized his jacket. Walking up to him quietly, you sat next to him. “How was practice?” Woohyun lifted his head slowly and turned to look at you. “It was okay. I’m having a hard time learning a certain part.” His voice was slightly muted and his eyes clearly told you he was tired. “Yah, why did you call me out when you’re so tired? And don’t worry about the dance. You punched his arm playfully. “Yah, is this how you treat someone who came all the way here to see you?” Hoya laughed and handed you your backpack. “When can you come visit us again?” “Yeah, you barely come over here anymore!” you heard Sungyeol chime in. You hung your backpack on one of your shoulders as you shoved your feet into your shoes. “School takes a lot of my time these days. And besides you guys are always at schedules.” Hoya looked at you apologetically, “Yeah you’re right.” You smiled up at him. “I’m going to go now! Tell me when you guys plan to practice next week – I’ll come over then okay?” You turned to open the door of their practice room, and stepped outside. You were a little surprised at how dark it had become; the time went by too quickly whenever you were with Infinite. You felt someone’s hand on your shoulder, “Yah, hold on, let me get someone to walk you. It’s too dark for you to be by yourself.” You looked up into Sunggyu’s face. “It’s oka—” He cut you off. “I have a meeting with our CEO right now, so I can’t. Hold on.” You sighed as you watched Sunggyu go back in. “Can you walk her home?” you heard him ask someone. “I don’t want to.” Your heart dropped as you heard Myungsoo’s voice. You noticed that you were clutching your blanket tightly and that your heart was beating faster than usual. You sat up as your thoughts flashed back to the nightmare you had been having; you didn’t usually have bad dreams this intense. “You were kicking me! What, were you running a marathon in your dream or something?” Sungyeol began to laugh as he punched your shoulder lightly. You on the other side were not amused. Sungyeol noticed this, and his laughing came to a slow stop. “Hey are you okay?” You avoided his eyes. “I was really scared.” Sungyeol took your chin and lifted your head so that he could see your face. “Oh, you were having a bad dream? But I’m right here! What is there to be scared of?” You raised your eyebrows. “Oh? And what were you going to do if we were in danger?” Sungyeol gave you a defiant look, “I’d protect you, of course!” You laughed and shook your head. “No, knowing you, you would probably use me as a shield or something.” Sungyeol’s eyes widened. “WHAT? I WOULD NO—” Deciding to have some fun with him, you cut him off. “Actually that’s what you were doing in my dream. But somehow you got away from me, and so I had to run back to go save you,” Talking to Sungyeol always made you feel better. You turned to your boyfriend, giving him a pointed look. “See? Sorry I took so long…” your voice trailed off as you watched your friend fling things out of her bag. “Ah, I found it!” she smiled happily as she held up her face wash. “I left you a towel in there already,” you said as you took a seat at the edge of your bed. “Thanks!” Your friend grabbed her clothes and rushed into the bathroom. The room fell silent and you heard the sound of the shower starting. Sighing, you fell back onto your bed. Today had been such an exhausting yet eventful day. You smiled as you recalled the day’s events. You had attended the K-Pop concert you had been waiting the whole year for. And Infinite had performed. It was different watching them live. They really put their all into their performances. Your heart swelled as you recalled their songs. When would you see them again? It was selfish really, I mean you had told yourself that after one concert you would be content. But… this was Infinite. You closed your eyes. If only you lived in Korea. Then you could watch all the performances you wanted. You sat up. It was really too quiet in here. Standing up, you grabbed your wallet and slipped on your shoes. You had seen a couple of snack machines earlier, might as well pick something up for you and your friend. Closing the door quietly, you quickly made your way to the elevator. The hallways were quiet too. The elevator came quickly and you grimaced as you were faced with the inside of the elevator. The doors were made of mirrors. You looked at your pajama pants and the Infinite Concert shirt you were wearing. Not the best choice when in public, but it would do. The elevator opened, facing you with the Hotel’s lobby. You made your way to where you had seen the machines earlier. As you approached the area however, you heard sounds. Was someone… hitting one of the machines? Before you rounded the corner, you stuck your head out from behind the wall, to see who was there. The sight was startling. There right in front of you, was Kim Myungsoo. And he was kicking the beverage machine.
